Members of the Southern California Rental Housing Association are partners in creating a thriving community by providing quality rental housing for all. We value our residents, our fellow members, and our community. We work to support a healthy housing ecosystem by following the guiding principles outlined in the SCRHA Housing Provider and Resident Rights & Responsibilities.

The dues are based on a transparent dues structure with no hidden fees. Your membership is valid for 12 months. Dues are non-refundable, non-transferable, and all new members pay a $35 application fee in addition to the dues described below. . Owner Regular

Annual Membership: $276 + $5.25 X number of units (1 or more units)

This membership tier is for owners with more than four rental units or who need a comprehensive membership with full access to our many resources. This membership tier features access to more than 80 rental forms and 70 industry white papers, and unlimited calls to our operational advisor at no extra cost to you. It also includes access to our Independent Rental Owner Classes (IROC) for free and member pricing on other educational classes or recorded webinars. This membership tier gives you the resources needed to comply with the local, state, and federal guidelines. 

  • Designated Independent Rental Owner Council Meeting at no additional cost. 
  • Unlimited operational advice from our onsite counselors. 
  • Access to 80+ rental forms that are regularly reviewed and updated to comply with current regulations. 
  • Access to 70+ industry white papers with details on operational guidance and regulatory fact sheets. 
  • Member pricing on NAA Click and Lease subscription to access smart fillable forms with auto-populate and advanced security features. 
  • Member pricing on tenant screenings. 
  • Member pricing on events and seminars. 
  • Serving rental housing providers throughout San Diego, Imperial, and southern Riverside Counties.

Owner Basic (1-4)

Annual Membership: $199* Limited Services

If you are new to owning a rental property and own less than four rental units, this tier of membership is made for you! This level gives you access to the digital version of Rental Advisor Magazine, which offers insight into owning a property through interviews with industry experts and features on properties like yours. You will receive the most common forms any landlord will need, and discounted “members-only” pricing on select tenant screening reports.  

  • Two operational advice calls with our counselors. Additional calls are available at $50 per call.  
  • Starter set of most common forms via email. Additional forms are available at a la carte pricing. 
  • Three (3) Pre-recorded classes, designed for your membership at no additional cost. 
  • Digital version of Rental Advisor Magazine. 
  • Member pricing on select tenant screening reports.

*Please note this is a restricted membership that includes the items listed above as well as membership in the National Apartment Association. Your pre-recorded classes and starter set of forms will arrive in a confirmation email. Membership will be verified for operational calls to counselors. Additional forms, white papers, and classes are available at non-member rates. Once again, services in this category are limited.

Firms or companies that oversee and manage residential rental properties on behalf of the owner, should purchase our Management Company Membership. Not only will this tier of membership put you in front of those who can benefit from your property management services, this membership gives your staff all of the knowledge and benefits that this tier offers. With this level of membership, you will have guidance, and advice from our industry experts.  Member benefits extend to ALL staff, including maintenance teams and onsite management. 

  • Complimentary listing in Business Directory of Property Management Companies. 
  • Unlimited operational advice from our onsite counselors. 
  • Azibo fillable forms subscription with advanced security features gives you access to 80 rental forms that are regularly reviewed and updated to comply with current regulations.
