Certified Pool Operator (CPO) 

This course covers everything you need to know to maintain, keep your pools open and keep the health department happy. This Certified Pool Operator (CPO) course teaches individuals the knowledge and skills needed for pool and spa operations. A number of states currently require CPO certification for all pool operators. The pool must be under the supervision of a person who is fully capable and will assume responsibility for compliance with all requirements relating to pool operation, maintenance and safety. The California Health and Safety Code requires that every pool have a responsible person to take appropriate action to correct hazardous conditions at the pool. This course provides that essential training. Participants must pass a test to obtain certification.
