The Southern California Rental Housing Association brings you the latest industry information through educational classes and seminars. These educational offerings are designed to help rental property owners, property supervisors, and onsite personnel gain a better understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
Independent Rental Owner Classes (IROC)
Classes with (IROC) in the title are specially designed for our independent owner members and are held throughout the year. Industry experts teach the classes and cover topics such as Noticing Tenants, Fair Housing, Dealing with Evictions, and other hot topics. Owner members can attend these classes for free as a benefit of membership, and property management members can participate at a discounted rate.
Designations & Certifications
Through our affiliation with the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI), we offer multiple national professional designations. We also offer EPA Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Compliance Certification seminars.

Supplier Education
Southern California Rental Housing Association offers our Supplier Members several ways to learn build and strengthen relationships with independent owners, property managers, and maintenance professionals through specialized educational courses.
- Supplier Council – Gain a better understanding of how to serve clients in the rental housing industry with Supplier Council classes. Topics are taken from recommendations from our suppliers themselves and typically focus on building relations and strengthening networks.
- Supplier Success – This class is a prerequisite for earning your CAS and continuing education credits are available.
- Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS) – This course will help you gain insights to position your products and services to meet industry needs. This course will help you earn your national designation.
