SCRHA Event Participation Waiver and Release of Liability

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in a SCRHA-hosted event, including but not limited to: Pickleball, Bowling, Golf, Billiards, Maintenance Mania, Trade Show, Mark of Excellence, and any other SCRHA event or activity named or un-named.

I understand that participation in these activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

In consideration of being permitted to participate, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Southern California Rental Housing Association (SCRHA), its officers, employees, and volunteers, as well as the owners and operators of the event venue/facility, from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of ordinary negligence related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained while participating in this event. This release does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of law.

I confirm that I am physically able to participate in this activity and am not aware of any medical condition that would prevent my safe participation.
