Submission Method

All responses must be submitted directly into the Submittable platform. The answer box has a word limit, so participants should ensure their responses fit within this constraint.

How do I access my application?

  • Click here to Complete Your Application for Judging
  • Log in to your Submittable account. If this is your first time accessing the platform, create an account using the same email address associated with your nomination.
  • Complete and submit your application before the deadline.

I'm having trouble accessing my application.


If you're unable to log in or don't see your application:

  • Confirm you're using the same email address associated with your nomination.
  • If needed, use the Forgot Password option on the Submittable login page.
  • If you still need assistance, contact SCRHA staff.

Before You Begin

  • Draft your responses in Word or Google Docs before entering them into Submittable.
  • Review the questions and plan your responses in advance to make submitting easier.
  • Keep your responses concise to stay within the word limits.

How to Create a Submittable Account


When you open the application link:

  • Select Create Account.
  • Enter:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
  • Create your password.
  • Access your application.


Which email address should I use?


We recommend:

  • Individual Awards: Use your professional work email.
    • Examples: Leasing Professional of the Year, Property Manager of the Year, Rising Star Award
  • Property Awards: Use the property's email address.
    • Examples: Property of the Year, Repositioned Property of the Year, Property Management Company of the Year


If you have multiple nominations, use a different email address for each nomination whenever possible.

I forgot my password.

  • Go to the Submittable login page.
  • Click Reset Password.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Follow the instructions sent to your inbox.

 

Nominee Responsibility

It is the nominee’s responsibility to ensure that all questions are answered before submitting. Once answers are submitted, they cannot be edited or reentered. Nominees should review their responses carefully before clicking the submit button. 

Extended Submission Time & Fees

If additional time is needed beyond the initial deadline, nominees may request an extension for a few additional days at a cost of $25 per nomination. Fee must be prepaid, no invoicing available. 

Final Submission & Deadline Enforcement

All nominations will be submitted on the last day, regardless of completion status. Nominees must ensure they have completed all responses before the deadline. Once submitted, no further changes will be possible. If a nominee needs their submission reopened after it has been submitted, there is a $40 fee per request. 

Example

  • If a nominee requests to reopen their submission once, they will be charged $40. 

  • If they request to reopen their submission twice, they will be charged $40 per request, totaling $80. 

  • Each additional request will continue to incur a $40 fee per instance.


Judging Criteria

The evaluation of nominations will be based on specific scoring criteria. Nominees should carefully review the scoring criteria to understand how their responses will be assessed.
