Building Electriciation

Community,

Use the Energy Code to push the limits on energy efficiency and electrification!

Building electrification is coming to California, and it’s bringing the benefits of healthier living spaces, greater energy efficiency, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions to both property owners and tenants alike!

Using California’s Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24, Part 6 or Energy Code), New Construction, Additions, and Alterations are required to meet energy efficiency requirements. Updated every three years, the Energy Code pushes new requirements for systems such as solar and battery storage, lighting, envelope, HVAC, and more!

Every person in the chain of compliance needs to be aware of code requirements starting with property owners, managers, and developers. If you have questions about Energy Code compliance, Energy Code Ace provides a suite of tools, training, and resources dedicated to helping answer questions and provide support.
