Reminder: Anti-Price Gouging Rules Now in Effect for All of San Diego County
Housing providers should be aware that anti-price gouging rules are now in effect in San Diego County in anticipation of El Nino. While SCRHA strongly disagrees with the County’s action to trigger these rules simply based on the possibility of an emergency, members should be aware so they don’t face possible penalties. Help SCRHA Gather Vital Data on Rental Fraud
SCRHA is conducting a short anonymous survey to better understand rental fraud and whether it is becoming more common. The goal is to gather local data about incidents affecting housing providers to help support future advocacy efforts, media outreach, and member education initiatives. Take the survey today!
Ballots are Out; Cast Your Vote
Most voters should have received their ballots in the mail by now. County election officials were required to begin sending out ballots no later than October 5. The last day to register to vote online for November 3, 2026, General Election is October 19.
