Experiencing Increased Insurance Rates? Help CalRHA with Property Insurance Survey
The California Rental Housing Association (CalRHA), our statewide partner, is currently working with the California Department of Insurance to determine the magnitude of the current insurance crisis, and to quantify the impact of today’s insurance marketplace on rental housing providers. Help with this concerted effort to reverse the trend of skyrocketing property insurance rates by taking a short survey. The survey will take only a few minutes to complete and all responses will be kept confidential. Take Survey.

NAA Seeks Industry Input on Screening PracticesAs you may know, there has been a growing movement to restrict the kinds of information housing providers can use to determine an applicant’s potential residency in apartment communities. In addition to efforts at the state level, now two federal agencies, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), have issued a request for information (RFI) on resident screening practices. SCRHA encourages members to share their story with the National Apartment Association. Click here.
