Input Needed: Take Survey on Water Heater Replacement; Register for Focus Group
San Diego County's proposed Climate Action Plan has identified replacement of gas water heaters in apartment buildings as a goal in the coming years. The Center for Community Energy (CCE) is assisting the County with this effort and would like to engage the rental housing industry on incentives and regulations. Take a short survey to help CCE and the County understand the infrastructure and financial challenges for rental properties.

Governor Signs Bills Impacting Rental Housing & Employers
The deadline for the Governor to sign or veto legislation has now passed. SCRHA was very successful in defeating dozens of harmful bills this year. A handful of bills that SCRHA was tracking have now been signed into law. In addition to the bill on reusable screening reports, the Governor has signed bills regarding tenants and domestic violence, EV Charging Stations, wage garnishment, and more.
