Legislative Update - April 2, 2026

Lemon Grove Tenant Protection Ordinance Q & A Session: Sat. April 4 | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Councilmember Yadira Altamirano is hosting a Q & A session this coming Saturday for Lemon Grove property owners and residents interested in learning more about a potential permanent Tenant Protection Ordinance. SCRHA Director of Public Affairs Molly Kirkland will be participating to answer questions on existing law and share experiences with tenant protection ordinances. SCRHA members with property in Lemon Grove are encouraged to attend. (Note: this is separate from the city-hosted workshop scheduled for April 9). The event is being held at the Lemon Grove Library Community Room, 3001 School Ln, Lemon Grove, CA 91945. 

Reminder: County of San Diego Pool Program Changes Became Effective October 1, 2025
Pool operators in the County of San Diego are reminded that new rules went into effect last October. Changes may require certain upgrades that may trigger a plan check and permit requirement. Pool stakeholders who were unable to attend the County’s outreach sessions may access the Pool Program Update presentation, plan check template, and more at the County’s Pool Plan Check webpage.
