Lemon Grove Tenant Protection Ordinance Hearing Tentatively Scheduled for August 18

As SCRHA reported last week, the Lemon Grove City Council provided additional direction to city staff at their July 21 hearing. Because the draft as presented will be modified when it returns to Council (likely August 18), it will be considered a first reading of the ordinance. If approved, it will come back for a second reading (secondary approval) and then go into effect 30 days later. SCRHA will keep members updated as the issue continues to evolve.

San Diego County Supervisor Seeks Input on Short-Term Rentals

Supervisor Joel Anderson is conducting a survey for short-term rental owners throughout San Diego’s unincorporated county. The goal of this survey is to better understand their experiences working with the County—what’s going well, where challenges exist, and how their office can help improve processes moving forward. Take the survey.
