San Diego Tenant Protection Ordinance Signed into Law

On May 25, Mayor Todd Gloria signed the Tenant Protection Ordinance (TPO) into law. The ordinance goes into effect 30 days after signing. As such, SCRHA is working with the city to confirm the June 24 effective date and to ensure clear and concise guidance for both housing providers and residents. SCRHA is preparing additional guidance and finalizing new forms to help members comply with the ordinance.
